West Main Baptist Church Feasibility Study & Planning | Artesia, New Mexico
When West Main Baptist Church desired to upgrade and expand their facilities, Greer Stafford was hired to conduct a feasibility study to assess the congregation’s needs and explore possible design solutions. Ultimately, it was determined that the existing 1950’s-era facility was too small, too outdated and contained too many functional and code deficiencies to warrant remodeling. Our final recommendation was to replace all buildings, except for the Fellowship Hall, according to a multi-phased plan that allows the church to remain open during construction. Upon completion of the plan, the total building area will have more than doubled, from 24,610 square feet to 53,025 square feet.
