This week a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the City of Albuquerque’s new Los Altos Swimming Pool Building. A ribbon cutting ceremony held last Thursday marked the opening of the new Joan Jones Community Center at Pat Hurley Park on the west side of Albuquerque. Congratulations to Greer Stafford partner, Steven Alano, who was recently honored with this year's Young Architect Award from the New Mexico Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The award recognizes Young Architect members who show exceptional leadership in community service, education, design, and/or service to the profession. Steven has held leadership positions with AIA NM since 2013 and is currently President-Elect for 2017.
