Deming Public Schools broke ground on Phase 1 of the new Deming High School in April. Currently, the building pad earthwork is complete and drilled pier foundation work has begun. Facilities will be consolidated under one roof in a 2-story design organized around a central outdoor commons. The $46M project will be complete prior to the Fall semester in 2017.

Los Lunas High School students started back to school this August with a brand new classroom building. Phase I construction wrapped up in time for the beginning of the 2013-14 school year.
