Scott Stafford

Scott W. Stafford, AIA • President

Scott has been a managing partner of Greer Stafford since 1989. As a registered architect with over 37 years of professional experience, he has played an integral role in the design and management of a wide range of projects for public, educational, and community-based clients. He has worked on projects throughout the Southwest and Midwest regions of the U.S. as well as in the Middle East. His dedication to superior service and client satisfaction has resulted in many long-term client relationships.  In addition to his design and planning talents, Scott’s strengths include strong project management, good communications skills, positive client relationships and successful coordination of multiple specialized consultants on complex projects.

Chris Rasmussen, AIA

Christopher K. Rasmussen, AIA • Sr. Vice President

Chris has 35 years of specialized educational design experience on a wide variety of public sector projects throughout New Mexico. His particular areas of expertise include master planning, facilities programming and high-performance design for new and renovated buildings. Chris is dedicated to the development of facilities that are not only functional, durable and attractive, but also energy efficient and sustainable. He has recently led the design for three LEED Certified schools in New Mexico: Amy Biehl Community School, Portales’s Lindsey-Steiner Elementary, and Phase II of the new Allied Health Center at Clovis Community College.

Marilyn Strube

Marilyn K. Strube, CEFP • Vice President

Marilyn has been with Greer Stafford for over 23 years and currently heads our educational planning department. She has been extensively involved in all phases of educational planning and programming. Via extensive Facilities Master Planning experience for school districts throughout New Mexico, she has become well-versed in PSFA/PSCOC procedures and New Mexico Adequacy Standards. She serves on both the PSFA Adequacy Standards and Guidelines Advisory Groups. Marilyn has been instrumental in assisting many districts with their PSCOC applications and has successfully presented before the PSCOC pursuant to numerous funding requests.

Michael Heitman

Michael J. Heitman, AIA • Vice President

Mike has 16 years of professional experience. He has led a wide variety of educational and community-use projects, including major school renovation & replacement projects in Cloudcroft, Bloomfield, and Los Lunas. Mike’s attention to detail and strong sense of design aesthetics result in projects that are not only efficient and highly functional, but also attractive, inviting, well-coordinated, and maintenance-friendly.

Chris van Dyck

Chris van Dyck, AIA, LEED AP • Vice President

Chris has been with Greer Stafford since 1996. He is accomplished in all phases of architecture and has served as Project Manager, Project Architect or Principal-in-Charge on a wide variety of public and educational projects throughout the State. He has also been a leader in our firm’s efforts to offer sustainable design services. Chris’s thorough process and attention to detail has ensured that clients see their projects built on time, within budget, and with minimal construction changes.

Sergio Meza

Sergio A. Meza, Assoc. AIA

Sergio has 11 years of architectural experience, encompassing all phases of professional service. He has served as Project Manager on numerous projects, including dozens of projects for Farmington Municipal Schools. In addition to possessing strong project management abilities, Sergio has extensive knowledge of AutoCAD programs, systems and standards, which enables him to train and oversee other members of our production staff.

Ailene O'Byrne

Ailene O’Byrne, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, PMP

Ailene is a Greer Stafford Associate who has more than 15 years of experience on a wide variety of commercial, educational and institutional projects. Since joining Greer Stafford in 2006, she has served as project architect, project manager and/or construction administrator for a variety of educational and municipal renovation/addition projects. Ailene is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an active member of the Project Management Institute. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional.

Rick Page

Rick Page

Rick is a Greer Stafford Associate based out of our Farmington Office. He has over 33 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in the preparation of contractor agreements, bid review, and project cost estimation. He is skilled in identifying problems and implementing time- and cost-efficient solutions. Rick’s areas of expertise include: project management, materials review, quality control, job specifications, bid review and analysis. Rick has provided construction administration services for nearly all of Greer Stafford’s Four Corners area projects since 1993.

Stephen Williams

Stephen E. Williams, AIA

Stephen is a Greer Stafford Associate who has been with the firm for 11 years and has served as project manager and/or construction administrator for numerous educational & community-use projects. He is experienced in all phases of professional service including programming, client meetings, coordination with consultants, construction document production utilizing both AutoCADD and Revit Architecture Building Information Modeling (BIM), bidding coordination and construction administration.
