Ribbon Cutting for Joan Jones Community Center

 In Projects

A ribbon cutting ceremony held last Thursday marked the opening of the new Joan Jones Community Center (formerly called the Pat Hurley Community Center) at Pat Hurley Park on the west side of Albuquerque. Two aging portables are replaced by a new 5,010 square foot permanent building that includes a game room, activity/crafts room, computer lab, and administrative/reception area. City Councilor Ken Sanchez, Senator Jacob Candelaria, and Representative Antonio Maestas were in attendance at the ribbon cutting, along with representatives from the City of Albuquerque’s Department of Family and Community Services and members of the local community.
