Our Commitment to Sustainable Design
We strive to provide our clients with cost-effective, energy-efficient design. We recognize that sustainable, high-performance buildings save owners money on energy and operating costs over a building’s lifespan as well as provide occupants with healthier and more comfortable environments.
A project need not be certified by green building rating system like LEED or EnergyStar in order to provide these benefits. However, if LEED or EnergyStar certification is desired or required by the owner, we are fully capable of meeting these requirements.
- Our firm has 5 LEED Accredited Professionals on staff, including an in-house Sustainable Design Coordinator
- Three of our recent projects are in the process of applying for LEED Certification: Amy Biehl Community School, Lindsey Steiner Elementary School, and the Sisler Allied Health Building
- Several recent projects have earned a score of 75 or higher on the EPA’s EnergyStar Target Finder, making them among the top in the nation in energy-efficiency.
- Greer Stafford was ranked among Southwest’s Top Green Design Firms for 2010 by Southwest Contractor Magazine
