Automotive Technology Center | Santa Fe, New Mexico

The new ATC is designed to provide students in Santa Fe Community College’s automotive technology program with hands-on experience in a life-like setting. The new building houses a large vehicle service shop that is designed to mimic those found in car dealerships. The shop includes seven service bays with four vehicle lifts and two alignment racks. The facility also includes several automotive technology labs, staff offices, and a flex lab/maker space. The design is LEED Gold certified, and incorporates a highly energy-efficient HVAC system, photovoltaic panels on the roof, natural daylighting through high-bay translucent glazing, low water-use landscaping, and many other sustainable design features.
