About Greer Stafford/SJCF Architecture
Since 1987 we have been delivering attentive service and high-quality, cost-effective design to clients throughout New Mexico and the surrounding states. Our project experience encompasses a wide range of scopes and includes design of educational, municipal, recreational, religious, and commercial facilities.
In addition to our two New Mexico offices – our main Albuquerque office and a construction administration office in Farmington – we also have an affiliation with SJCF Architecture, Inc. in Wichita, Kansas.
With staff of approximately 20 employees in our two New Mexico offices — including 8 licensed architects — our firm has the capacity to handle even the largest of projects, yet we remain small enough that we still provide attentive, personalized service.

What’s Happening at Greer Stafford
Greer Stafford currently has cooperative procurement contracts with New Mexico’s Cooperative Educational Services (CES) for both architectural services and educational planning services and with High Plains Regional Education Cooperative (HPREC) for architectural services.
If you represent a New Mexico college, university, public school district, charter school, state school, BIA institution, or municipal government, you may be able to hire Greer Stafford directly via a CES or HPREC contract instead of going through the time and expense of the RFP process.
New Mexico’s Educational Design Specialists
The educational sector is one of Greer Stafford’s primary focuses. We regularly provide architectural and facilities planning services for school districts, charter schools, private schools, and higher educational institutions throughout New Mexico and the Four Corners region.
Our aim is to design flexible learning environments that support students and teachers, while satisfying the practical requirements of maintenance, budget, and safety. We make it our business to stay informed of 21st century educational concepts, and we to listen closely to how each of our clients approaches the educational process.
Greer Stafford has been actively involved with the Public School Facilities Authority (PSFA) since the agency was established. Our staff is highly knowledgeable about New Mexico Adequacy Standards and very familiar with PSFA processes and procedures. In addition, we have established strong, effective working relationships with PSFA personnel, and we have lobbied successfully before the PSCOC on behalf of many school districts.
Ms. Strube and the staff at Greer Stafford were incredibly responsive, effective, and easy to work with while we were working on the Facilities Master Plan for our school…they consistently came up with great suggestions.
Greer Stafford has done an amazing job for our district. The quality of their work is exceptional. It is always very well planned and put together in a format that is very easy to understand, but at the same time very thorough…They have taken the time to truly understand what our district is all about.
From the start of design through close out, we have had nothing but exceptional service...Every item was attended to with lots of thought, much communication, attention to all users, and fiscal responsibility. [Greer Stafford's] team brought this project in safely, early, and in budget.
Every project since 2008 has come in at or below projected costs. Greer Stafford’s supervision of the project keeps the owner apprised of costs and double checks contractor change orders and requests. To say I am pleased with Greer Stafford would be huge understatement.
