Dennis Chavez Community Center, Ph. I | Albuquerque, New Mexico
Greer Stafford completed Phase I of this multi-phased restoration project in 2015 for the City of Albuquerque. The project brought needed improvements to an aging 46-year-old community center. The entire roof structure was removed and existing walls raised in order to create new elevated ceilings throughout, including a barrel-vaulted gym with numerous clerestory windows. Other improvements include creating a new game room, computer lab, activity/crafts room, administrative offices, reception, and upgrades to the existing gymnasium.
