The City of Albuquerque’s Los Altos Pool reopened on March 11^th, in time for the first day of Albuquerque Spring Break. In attendance were Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller and District 7 City Councilor Diane Gibson. The beloved community pool was originally constructed in the 1950s and was due for a much-needed update. This $6.6 million project constructed a new building around the existing pool, enlarging facilities by approximately 8,000 square feet. In addition to expanding the pool deck areas and locker rooms, the project provides a new front entrance and lobby, new staff offices, and a multi-purpose meeting room.
