Hobbs Freshman Academy | Hobbs, New Mexico
The new Freshman Academy is a self-contained 122,000 square foot facility constructed on the existing high school campus. Designed for 750 ninth graders, the Academy is intended to insulate freshmen from students in higher grades and create a smaller, more manageable learning community for students as they transition into high school.
Greer Stafford also provided services for a variety of other projects on the Hobbs High School Campus:
- a new centrally located kitchen and cafeteria to serve the entire campus
- a new 15,000 square foot Alternative High School for 150 students with special needs/circumstances
- a new 9,200 square foot media center and book depository
- phased renovations to existing classroom wings
